1989 Citizen Forma Steel Quartz "Tank" Dress Watch (5500-F50085)

Forma was (is?) a domestic Japanese Citizen line that focused on neat, basic casual and dress watches, much like Seiko's Spirit line. The dial declares that 'Basics Make a Prime Time' and it's hard to disagree when presented with this simple and sharp steel tank. Inside the faceted rectangular case we find a lovely off-white dial with applied baton indices and a bilingual kanji-english calendar.

In good condition, working well and keeping solid time. Case has some light wear and tear as pictured, but is still holding up well. Crystal is clean. Still has the protective sticker on the caseback! Fitted to the original fully adjustable integrated bracelet that should fit up to a 20cm wrist.
