1980 Alba/Seiko Quartz Silver Dial Day-Date (Y563-8030)

Pickup near Middle Footscray station, $10 for regular post, $13 for express.

Early example of JDM Seiko sub-brand Alba hitting way above their weight. This one has all the trappings of a late 70s/early 80s vintage Seiko quartz piece, with a stunning silver satin dial inside a faceted 'grammar of design' steel case. On the dial we find a Japanese/English day-date complication, applied 'Alba' logo and applied baton indices.

In good condition. Movement is working as expected and keeping good time. Case has some light scratching and surface-level marking as pictured. Some minor scratching to the crystal that doesn't quite show in my studio photos, so I've uploaded an extra photo that shows it a little better. Currently fitted to a black leather strap in good used condition.
